The bride blushes as she awaits her union with the man of her dreams. Taken from a well-known folk song of Bengal, India. The words of the song are as sweet as the tune. The bride 'by Woman' is a depiction of a traditional Bengali bride, dressed in red Benarasi saree. She’s adorned with gold ornaments, sandalwood designs painted on her forehead, a mukut (traditional crown), red net veil embellished with zari. She carries a কাজল লতা (kajal lata) that is believed to keep the bride safe from evil spirits and negative energies.
An absolute showstopper adornment. Can be worn as a neck piece or be gifted as a part of decorations of gift trays presented during the wedding ceremonies.
